In Rizvia Society, Karachi, our grandmother, Mrs Safdar, bought her first equipment and began distilling rose water by hand. She never advertised — she simply gave bottles to family, and to any guest who came through our door.
Word passed from friend to friend, house to house, until the whole community knew: this was the real thing. Today we continue exactly as she did — small batches, real roses, nothing added.
